Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Economic Development Corporation

The objective of Tamilnadu Backward Classes Economic Development Corporation (TABCEDCO) is to provide loans for the economically and financially viable schemes, trade or project to the individuals, Groups, Societies, belonging to the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities at lower interest rates for their economic upliftment through the following Sub-Chanelising Agencies.

District Central Co-operative Banks.
Urban Co-operative Banks.
Primary Agricultural Co-operative Banks.
District Co-operative Milk Producers Unions.

Financial Assistance

To provide loan assistance for income-generating activities to eligible individuals and groups.

Self-Employment Promotion

To encourage beneficiaries to start small businesses, trades and service-based enterprises.

Community Development

To uplift Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities through sustainable livelihood support.

Credit Linkage

To facilitate loan access through cooperative banks, credit societies and approved financial institutions.

Livelihood Support

To support agriculture, animal husbandry, small trade, transport and other viable economic activities.

Economic Empowerment

To improve family income, promote entrepreneurship and create long-term socio-economic progress.
